Day 4 "The Showers!"

So a shorter day today so we enjoyed out lie in until 09:00! then we set off from Gloucester towards Bridgnorth. The wind was behind us to begin with and we flew from Gloucester to Tewkesbury, no major hills and it was great!!

As we left Tewkesbury the showers began, although the wind was behind us, rain isn't the most pleasant of conditions to ride in! However we still cracked on to Worcester for lunch at 14:00. The hills in Gloucestershire are non existent, and we only had 2 larger hills to deal with.

We left Worcester and headed for Kidderminster on the A449, a very pleasant road and not too much traffic allowed us to really enjoy the beautiful scenery. Having had a lie in this morning we were full of energy so quick stop in Kidderminster and we headed off for Bridgnorth, again quiet uneventful, however we did hide in a bus shelter during the rain!!

Tomorrow sees us head to Warrington, we will take the A458 to Shrewsbury and then join the A49 up to Warrington!
