Welcome!

Frank and I have worked together at Autoglass® for 6 years and have always wanted to push ourselves to the limit. We are embarking on a challenge on May 13 2009 and finishing on 27 May 2009 to cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats. The ride will see us cycle over 900 miles over the 2 weeks period Whilst achieving this feat we would also like to raise money for 3 charities.

Autoglass® is owned by Belron® a South African company and Belron® supports a charity called MaAfrika Tikkun, They are a non-governmental, non-profit organisation that work towards the transformation of South African communities by caring for vulnerable children and orphans in townships.

Before joining Autoglass®, Frank served as a Coldstream Guard, his chosen charity is Coldstream Kids, a charity that supports children of both serving and former Coldstreamers who may have become victims of misfortune or unforeseen circumstances whilst serving their country.

I have chosen to support Road Victims Trust, a local charity who provide support to families who have lost young people in road accidents. Road Victims Trust have supported my family over the last 2 years and provide a free and supportive service to these families.

Over the course of the next 3 months we will be holding numerous fundraising activities to raise as much money as possible for these charities, as well as raising sponsorship for completing the challenge. Some of the fundraising activities are a raffle, a race night, a charity boxing match, as well as dress down days at work. Please also feel free to donate using the button on this page.

We will be using this blog to keep you updated on our progress, and during the expedition you will be able to track our progress.
